Where should we hold the LJN AGM?

I want to hold an LJN AGM is March/April and I'd like to know where to hold it.

Before we decide on the location it would be good to know who would like to attend.

I'd envisage an afternoon meeting culminating in evening meal and at a pub/restaurant/hotel.

I do appreciate that taking time off of work and travel is costly hence the reason for this thread.

Once we get some feedback we can formulate a plan.

For the record, if there's enough interest, I am happy to have more than one meeting.

Please leave suggestions.

  • Phil what about our recent member from Sutherland? If he attended what would this do to the map? :) Or if the lovely Brigitt wanted to join in!

If not Lake District. Could get a cheap bunkhouse to fit everyone in!

  • interested - welwyn garden city

  • Piddletrenthide for us :-)

Just below Yeovil on the map, but way above Weymouth.

    Good point Paul:)

This meeting will however, have a large dose of social attached to it too.

Surely we are putting the cart before the horses. Would it not be prudent to first agree an agenda then members can weigh up the justification of what for most will be a very long drive.
