It replaced a 6.5hp petrol washer and I have never looked back!
Out 4000psi for all jobs.. That's what I use 13hp honda set up.
Nick, are you talking about battery or mains? If mains, how do you ensure you will have power wherever you go? If battery, how long does a battery last? Thinking about buying a petrol but interested in what you say.
My favourite features are a 15m hose reel which means you hardly have to move the machine, the sheer power and how little it costs to run. My petrol washer used to drink fuel.
The limitations of an electric machine are that you need power but more sites than not have an external socket and domestic clients are often willing to dangle a lead out if a window if you ask them to if they are out.
The Kranzke machine oozes quality, the lance is easier and more comfortable to hold than any other washer I've used, there are less vibrations, it is quieter so no need to use ear protection. It is a machine that can happily be used for hours on end.
I would like to have one that I don't need to lift in an out the van so one with a long hose on it and decent tank on it
Would diesel be better?
Have you looked at the GroundsCare Rotowash? http://bit.ly/HQWEuo . Utilises spinning jets under the machine; doesn't throw the dirt and water around, so you can use it close to vulnerable objects such as plants, vehicles etc. Also has a traditional hose and lance. Optional chewing gum lance available.
