I have no reason to believe that this faked in any way.
I'm not sure what's most distressing...the fact that someone could have potentially lost their life or have received life changing injuries or that it's listed as a funny video.
Personally Id hope it serves as a warning to people not to attempt any tree work without training - Only last week I saw a guy on my street cutting a branch 2 m from the ground, that his ladders were resting on.................
Its easy to make simple assumtions and mistakes without the training.
Why do people film this sort of thing?
I always have a nagging suspicion that they are either faked, or else deliberately set up as a "stunt".
The person who first thought that a TV show devoted to home-videos of people getting hurt was a good idea should have considered how it might end up!
I just throw it out there as an idea ;)
