Landscape Juice Network

An Open Association of Landscape and Horticulture Industries

I am sorry for posting this, and if this is not allowed I fully understand that it will be removed.

While I am doing all I can to get my business off the ground, is there anywhere within this site where I can hope to pick up any surplus work?

Phil, if you have any I can swim the channel at night if needs be.

Pro Gard, I can walk, the bridge will be cheaper.

Ofelia & tastybeets, my beautiful wife to be lives up there in the panhandle of Texas so just to be under the same sky as her again would almost be payment enough. (tastybeets, I adored San Antonio and left part of my heart there).

My car has comfortable enough seats to sleep on, so anywhere in the country would be ok. Although slightly ashamed, I am not too proud to be asking for this.

I know things will pick up in the long run.

I would just like to thank all those that have been kind enough to point me in the right direction so far and I promise I have taken everything on board and have acted on a few already.

Very best regards.

David (Bristol)

Hi David

Your request is more than acceptable and I hope it proves fruitful.
I hope that if any of our members have any spare work that they can help you out.

All the best

Phil
David,

Email me your day rate and if available this week (tomorrow and Wednesday would be brill). I have two tidy up jobs in Hampshire / Berkshire borders and another one for next week.

Shame you didn't join a few weeks ago as I have quite a few one off jobs plus a spare van.
David.

Thanks for Email.

Hopefully Wednesday is on and maybe Tuesday afternoon?
Hi Graeme.

Definately Wednesday.

Sent you a clarification request by email for me to call?

Hi Paul.

Thanks for that.

I have got experience in both so that would be brilliant.

Best regards.

David.

I do occasionally get asked if i can take on new regular maintenance jobs, at present I'm fully booked however ill bear you in mind. Although paying £10.60 to get back out of wales plus fuel might well make these uneconomic as long term prospects.

I may well have a day or twos laboring coming up in about 4 weeks, Primarily loading a chipper and helping erect fencing If this comes to pass ill send you a PM.
David has worked for me today and assuming he gets a good night sleep in his car he will be staying down here for the rest of the week. And before you think or say it - David's choice as he is getting a great daily rate and could get a B&B if he wanted to:-)

I wouldn't have any doubts about recommending David to anyone. Really nice chap and great worker. The qualities are hard to find these days.

Hopefully showed David how he can run a profitable business and he has picked up lots of tips and even seen how referrals work!
Well done Graeme

I must say that you are working extremely hard for this network and I am delighted that you are able to help David out.

Thanks and kind regards

Phil
Good on you both, I hope David will opt for a bed tomorrow night though.
Well done you two. xx
Forgot to mention that I assumed all people from Bristol would look like Justin Lee Collins which I was shocked to discover isn't true. Live and learn! :-)
David,

Many thanks for your help this week and hopefully a few more days next week.

I see you are now getting quite famous. See link http://www.landscapejuice.com/2009/06/landscaping-association-witho...
