Plant identification help

I'm usually pretty good on naming plants but I'm stumped on this one - if anyone can help me I'd be really grateful. Sorry the photo's not brilliant

I just googled "Purple Haze Plant" and I got loads of images of dope plants!

It's ironic really as in my youth I was (and still am) a fanatical Jimi Hendrix fan..........
