Optimising your profile page on the network

Your network profile shouldn't be regarded just as a method of identifying yourself to other network members but as a potent advert for you and your business.

Everything you write or upload into this section of the site has the potential to be found by search engines and result in you winning business.

Make sure your profile contains all of the right information about you and your business - see this section Is your profile saying what it should?

Thanks to Claire for this reminder. I had covered it before but it has been lost over time.

Dragging your contact and about section to the top of your profile page will help you get seen.

It is important that visitors and potential clients can get at your contact details immediately rather than scrolling down.

You might wish to edit - to do this, when in your own page, you will notice that there is a header and an edit button at the top of each information block.

When you hover your mouse over the top the cursor will turn into a cross. Click on the header and hold - the box will now move freely - drag the whole box up to the desired position at the top.
