Great mowers.
We are the same, swapping over to Lawnflites and Etesia's from Hayters. All been relatively trouble free with benefit of good engines and good dealer backup. We use both roller and 4 wheel versions.
We have a new pro roller version with a Kawasaki engine - will be intersting to see how this fares from the start of this years season.
+1 In total we have 5off and we like them :-)

No, its only on the new 19" Roller ( which we needed ) which comes with a 5hp Kawcker.
The 21" continues with the 5.5hp Honda engines

We've a really good dealer down in Hampshire.
i have the 19" roller with the Kawasaki the only prob i find is the shaft drive makes it difficult to get round the edge of small lawns after that OK. the only niggle i have is on the split roller the center part catches on the ground if slightly uneven when going from van to lawn
We used to use lawnflite and now use honda pro but there is not much between them to be honest, the Honda is slightly quicker than the lawnflite but not by much!
What are they like in the wet?
Not great in the wet, the roller versions at least, but no worse than any other roller mower in my experience. Keeping the bag clean makes a massive difference (I have two bags, one's always clean), and they come with a vented "quiet" blade which gets changed immediately for a proper one!
I run the Kaaz, have done for many years. It's all the mechanical bits off a pro roller with arguably a better design of body, at much less cost than the Honda. Like Gary, my dealer knows what needs doing on them, carries all the bits etc., which is what's most important. He rates them much higher than either the Hayters or Vikings, and there's not many other options for a 21" roller machine with a pro spec.

What are the residual values like for these mowers compared to the Hayter pro?
I just cannot make my mind up for which mower to go for. Hayter, lawnflight or Honda?
Are these lawnflight mowers better built than the Hayter pro? Do they cut cleaner?
I have recently inherited some money that wil nearlyl cover the cost of a new mower.
Unless some of you know where I could grab a bargain second hand?

Greg
