PRO

It's been a long time coming I know, but we are on the cusp of launching the Landscape Engine.

Premium Members will get access shortly, once final testing has been completed.

Once we've settled in. LJN Premium members will get unlimited access to all the features included. Non-LJN businesses and individuals using the service will pay a higher one-off yearly fee. These businesses will not have an unlocked LJN page.

The service will run side-by-side with LJN but is, essentially, a different site.

We will promote the service at every opportunity via our strong social media channels.

We will use #nationallandscapeindex as a supporting tag.

Here are a few screenshots:

Post a project can be used by consumers or for member-to-member projects. There is internal messaging linked to each project so clients can manage the project from within the platform.

Members can opt to send details to search engines or contain project details within the platform itself.

Contract managers may post multi-site details.

Suck out lists of appropriate candidates. This can be 'all' contractors or those with specific skills in a specific area.  For example it's possible to view all garden designers with all skills or garden designers who only operate within a certain distance of your location that have CAD skills.

Members can view posted projects in summary view:

Click on the details tab to see full details of the project. It's then possible to message client (or fellow member) from this page.

Owners of the project can decline a member or accept (bear in mind that this process doesn't replace on-site dialogue and physical tendering/estimating/quoting.

Contractors viewing projects can click an 'apply' button to register interest for the project. The project manager (client or main contractor) can then manage their list by either rejecting applicant or adding to a short list).

Click each image to show detail.

Bear in mind that the system is populated with test data only as the moment so please don't be worried if you see funny characters, this will all be stripped out in the coming week.

    Create a strong profile.

Add details of all your skills from the drop-down menus. All data is then searchable via the extensive back-end database

    Thanks everyone.

I was told that we were finished yesterday but found out this morning that there were a few issues to sort. I heard about an hour ago that will definitely be finished tomorrow.

Although I've been at the heart of development I haven't been allowed under the bonnet. So when the keys are handed over I can introduce Premium members to their account section.

I've got two choices. Upload Premium Member data or let everyone log-in and set up their traders' page. I'be guided by what you want. after all, I want this to work for you:)

Stay tuned and thanks, as always, for your patience:)

p.s. There will be ongoing development and additional features add when further budget is made available.

  • A great move Phil looking forward too tomorrow.

  • Looks great! Im looking forward to use it! Well done Phil!
