Any help , I have been asked to replicate this for a client, yet my clients situation has little direct sunlight , only splattering of sun late in the day . Any ideas on hardy agarves that may survive or alternative plant to create this effect .

I am not generally a spiky plant person , so not well versed in this arena

thankyou

It does look good yet this is in more sunlight , & a more open location for light when not in direct light.

thank you , all valid possibilities , although I know my client is looking for that perfectly formed look . There is very little direct sunlight , only end of day at the front of my clients house.

many thanks

I think the plants in the picture is Aloe, what about

Acorus gramineus 'variegata'

Beschorneria yuccoides

Kinphophia

Iris

You may not want the flowers just the foliage

Wow that's a fabulous alternative in the right setting.  I'm popping off to view your website to see what's available for my particular garden setting.

Hi,

If the site is not suitable for live agaves how about steel agaves - they withstand frost, don't need sun and last a lifetime! We make these in any size and can offer them for a window box. Just a thought, it would give your clients the sculptural beauty of agaves without disappointment.
