I think the ideas are very good. My only concern in our trade would be wearing it at work.
Maybe you would not have a problem I think I'm too clumsy and smash goes the the watch!!
Just my thoughts and it may be very strong you can't tell until you hold one I suppose.

A valid point and I suspect initially true, but I wonder what they can/will come up with to protect it or make a rugged version - just like the iBand jackets you can get for iPhones/iPads? I can bounce my iPhone on its edge. Don't like doing it but it does work !

Those bands sound good where can I find one of those. Never even heard of one my phone is in a wallet case type thing.

This is what I have : https://www.tech21.com/impact-mesh-iphone-5-case-clear/ (but for my older iPhone) originally bought from Amazon and I'm sure they've been on Dragons Den with this...I also have one on my iPad. It has saved my phone many times as I'm terrible at dropping my phone :-(

As a clumsy bloke I have my iphone in a rugged survival case from griffin, via amazon, makes it a bit chunky but touch wood has prevent a major mishap on many an occasion. Allegedly can be dropped from a great height and survive (dropped it once from 12 feet, apart from the minor heart attack, all was good!)
  • Cool to see the post being talked about here. Thanks for sharing it Gary!

Richard that is what we thought of at first too.If you are doing a lot of hands on and dirty work you probably would not want to be wearing a 350$ watch. I do think that there will be someone that comes up with a strap for it that can help protect the face.

At least a watch is strapped to your arm so you can't drop it!
