Based in Milton Keynes we cater for clients across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northants, Hertfordshire and North London. All our Staff are fully trained holding CSCS, CPCS, NPTC and City and Guilds qualifications to name a few, and have many years experience in horticultural, amenity, equine and agricultural works.
Site Visits and Estimates are carried out free of charge.
Our Services.
Maintenance contracts
Our ground maintenance teams have many years experience and deal with large and small companies, and individuals maintaining their sites to a high standard. Maintenance, whether it is grass cutting, weed control, pruning or hedge cutting, will be carried out using good horticultural practices. Our specialist equipment can cover large areas and small, thus being very cost effective. Greenacres believe in customer satisfaction and with this in mind, our dedicated team will liaise closely with you and regularly carry out site inspections in order to monitor our performance standards. We have been in the Grounds Maintenance business for many years and can supply you with excellent references if required.
Grass Cutting
If your lawn, paddock or field needs a trim or something more drastic we have a machine to suit your needs. Our machines range from pedestrian and tractor mounted roller mowers for that perfect stripped lawn to zero turn mowers and tractor mounted flail mowers and cutter collectors. Like harrowing rolling and scarification to more specialised jobs. .

Vertidraining
Aeration can be carried out using a variety of methods. The “verti-drain” machine that we use uses tines to penetrate the soil which are either solid or hollow, depending on the soil conditions, time of year and desired effect. A massively influential machine in the pitch care industry, the “verti-drain” is designed to de-compact soil on sports pitches once or twice per year only. Equally spaced holes of 25mm diameter and up to 300mm deep provide a surface pan shatter, allowing water and air to disperse to the grass roots a lot easier.
Grassland slitter
Slitting grass helps promote root development, Helps drainage prevents water run off, Improves fertiliser intake, relieves compaction and is fitted with roller to leave an undisturbed finish. Max working depth 205mm (8")
Turfing and over seeding.
From gardens to football pitches we offer a full range of seeding, over seeding or turfing to suit your budget and needs
Weed Control.
Weeds are unsightly, spreading and outcompeting grassland causing a reduction in quality. They are poisonous to animals particularly horses. Weeds need to be controlled and this involves using spray chemicals. In recent times chemicals and their methods of application have become more environmentally friendly allowing the safe control of weeds in a timely manner. We also can offer control solutions for invasive weeds such as giant hogweed, Japanese knotweed and Himalayan balsam
Fertiliser
Fertiliser feeds the ground and encourages good strong plant growth and helps encourage a healthy resilient sward that will last.
Greenacres can offer advice on the correct application of fertiliser and sprays and we carry all the relevant certificates (PA1, 2 and 6) of competence for our operators to ensure peace of mind
Rotovating.
We offer tractor mounted and pedestrian rotovator services which are ideal for the preparation of seedbeds or general ground levelling jobs from fields to gardens.

Stone burrier
For that ultimate seedbed finish we have a machine that will bury stone and clods beneath the surface to give a fine tilth finish ideal in the preparation of seedbeds.

Fencing.
We supply and erect all types of fencing, from the smallest of gardens to large country estates and farms. Typical fencing examples include post and rail, equestrian, panel, picket and all styles of gates to suit your needs and budget.
Hedge Cutting and Tree work.
We offer a full range of tree and hedge cutting services with fully qualified staff carrying out small garden jobs to larger scale field hedges and commercial works. No tree or hedge to tall!! We also offer tree and hedge and shrub planting services.
Driveways, Patios and Areas of Hard standing.
Whether your style is traditional, rustic or modern contemporary we can help you to create your perfect garden patio, terrace, pathway or drive that will stand the test of time and you can enjoy for years to come.
We also offer a cost effective way of making your existing patio or driveway look new again with our excellent cleaning service, much cheaper than replacement and they really do look new again at a fraction of the cost of replacement.
Snow Clearance
We offer a winter program of snow clearance and gritting including pathways, car parks and drives keeping you and your business moving through the toughest conditions.
Logs.
We carry out a winter program of log splitting with our jappa firewood processor producing quality seasoned hardwood logs cut to order. Machine is also available to hire for your own production.

General Groundwork’s
Greenacres can carry out many jobs, such as ditching, building groundwork’s, areas of hard standing, concrete bases, hard tracks, scrub clearance, small ponds and a number of other digger related projects .
We also carry out hard landscaping of gardens or larger areas of grounds.
Manure and Green waste Clearance.
We can provide a manure and green waste removal service with our waste carrier licence.
Wood chipper Hire
We offer a wood chipper for hire capable of taking material up to 150mm (6") in diameter.
Tractor and Machinery Hire
We offer a Full range of Compact tractors with implements to fit, mowers and wood chippers for hire on daily or weekly terms to suit your needs. Each hire comes with fully trained operator. All operators for site work hold CSCS and CPCS qualifications.
