It’s not just our Olympic and Paralympic athletes who have done us proud at London 2012 - the team behind the creation of the Olympic Park should also be congratulated on their achievement.

As a local resident, I have been longing to see the planting at…

Hi Jenny

Sorry just saw your request!  I've just posted a discussion about the water crisis as I think we need to start lobbying for next year as this is surely an issue which will rear its head again and I am wondering what research has been done to back up the idea that we should be putting irrigation systems in everywhere!

I'm undecided, I have put them in for a couple of schemes either because of the water exemptions as the only way forward, or in the past when the client knew they would struggle to have time to water themselves.  I am not convinced that I should put them in every garden I build - it seems so bad for the environment with all that plastic and unecessary water over years to come.

What do you think?

kind regards

Selina

I have to say at present my sun tan isn't coming on too well...trench foot yes:-)

Thanks Jenny, by the sounds of it you've been working hard to really get landscapers heard so thanks to you for all of your hard work!

Really looking forward to seeing how it all plays out but it's definitely starting to look more in our favour!

Thanks again,

Ben

Thanks, Jenny. Obviously I've not grasped how to communicate on this network, as I assumed the email would have a link to my inbox and be easier to reply to!

I'm sorry, but I don't think I'm going to be able to make Hatfield (drat!), but will let you know if things change. Thanks again.
