I have a friend who is a very good software developer. He was asking what pain points I have in my landscaping business with a view to him solving them by building an app around it. I thought I'd reach out to the community to see if we can make something that really helps us all.Let me know if you've thought,'I wish I didn't have to do that' or 'how can I make this easier'. I mentioned quoting was one of my biggest pains.Let me know yours and maybe we can come up with a solution...

    I currently Use PHPBMS as my quoting and tracking software - as its hosting on a standard webserver and can be accessed anywhere.
    It runs of a standard MYSQL database.

    Something similar which could also do a diary and link dates in would mean I would be able to do everything bar the accounts on one, mobile application.
    At the moment my main problem si date changes due to diary and overruns / re-arranging and keeping track of it all.

    Great tip. I use freshbooks which tracks my invoicing, estimates, expenses etc. Still often find myself with a pen and paper working (constantly changing prices)out but would be loads better off having it all in one place.

    Biggest pains are customers and the weather. Tell me where to download the apps to solve either!
