can you get a couple of bearers under the pack and get the forks under it?
well that is worth a go, any ideas gladly received
Is there enough room to lift the blocks, slide a pallet under, then lift the pallet to move ?
If not perhaps a couple of scaffold boards under the wheels to give you a little bit more room to get a pallet under ?
Yes i had one on hire a few years ago for a specific job with no vehicle access. I had all the stuff delivered onto pallets though so it wasn't so bad.
The weight of a full ball of tegula is twice the weight of a bulk bag of sand etc which makes trying to lift them 3 or 4 slices up very hard.
Perhaps pumping the forks up once into the holes would allow you to split the bottom 2/3 courses off and slide a pallet under the bail? The whole thing may fall apart when you split the bands though depending on how they are wrapped?
The other idea if its really that bad a shift is to simply get a grab vehicle back and lift them onto pallets, may be worth the charges depending on the job and it may save a lot of faffing about
Thanks Guys
