Plant identification?

HI everyone. I know you have done this before for me when you identified an unknown plant to me as red valerian. Can you identify this one for me too please? Its a rambler/climber. Had lots of tiny dark pinky red flowers in the last month which are now dying off but foliage is growing quickly now. looks a bit raggy.

Much appreciated..

  • One of the Loniceras. Not sure which one though. Lonicera tatarica possibly, but don't quote me on that :)

  • Thanks. To be honest it was the pairs of leaves at 90 degrees to the previous ones that puzzled me. the flowers seemed more fragile than lonerica but i am trawling lonerica pics on t'internet now! Many thanks

  • Could be Sue. The flowers and leaves look similar. tho i dont think they had any scent. not sure though. I think a general trim of the ragginess at the moment might be in order and see how it goes.
