I go past a small yard full of logs opposite The Copthorne Hotel in Copthorne if that's any good or there's http://www.logsinsusussex.co.uk in Billingshurst or try "Woodnet". what type of logs are you looking for? as I have just taken over management of a wood full of Scot's Pine, and Silver Birch there.
I carry out quite a lot of chimney work repointing flaunching new pots sweeping etc
And always being asked if I can supply firewood
Looking for a supplier of seasoned stock
we do a log service in and around the shoreham/lancing/brighton and hove area if thats any use
We supply Kiln Dried Ash in 2m3 Crates nationwide if thats any use?
Yes, but depending on quantity we may be able to offer a discount.
£210+VAT, seems very expensive. The price of firewood in NI is much cheaper. I sell 5m3 of mixed seasoned firewood for £200 inc VAT with free local delivery.

This is all Ash and is also handstacked. I bet your cubic metre is loose and not handstacked. If one of these pallets is emptied out it equates to more like 3m3 of loose wood.
Try Brighton Community Compost, they deliver or you can pick up from their site at Stanmer Park.
