I had the 'Forester's' smaller brother, the 'Garden Master' - my opinions are thus:
A very well built basic machine, does the job its supposed to do so long as the stuff you are shredding is fairly straightish.

HEAVY to pull around, nearly impossible to load on a trailer without a winch (the one you are looking at is heavier still)

Slow for professional use as there is no self feed - ie you have to stand there and manually feed stuff into the hopper - and not too quickly else it will block up, I found it irritating only being able to shred up to 15mm (that's not that thick really).

    Blocked up quite a lot.

In short in my opinion not such a bad machine if its to live on one site such as a big private garden and be towed around by the ride on mower or compact tractor.

I short I moved it swiftly on via Ebay for £700 after 3 hours use - almost exactly what the person that had used it before me had done with it, then a year or so later bought a truck loading, self feeding Arbor Eater Bio 200 truck loading shredder for £500 more.

  • Great engine ! not 36hp ?

Why would it be 36hp? It's a garden shredder not a tow behind wood chipper.
