The secret is out.
I'm pleased to say that we have just launched the LJN Mowerthon in aid of Perennial.
I am going to drive an Etesia commercial mower from my home near Bergerac, south west France all the way to John O'Groats (close Rowly :) to raise money for those working in, or retired from, horticulture ( this includes groundsmen and soft landscapers)?
Please see www.hortaid.org.uk for more details.
I'll add more content shortly. Typing in the rain sitting on the mower:(

I assume you will taking the ferry across the water and not fitting floatation bags to the mower. Hopefully I will be able to wave, cheer you on if your route passes nearby , might even sort out a few mowing jobs you can do to pass the time :-)

Don't forget to take two breathalyser kits with you! :-)
