This was taken today in Ashburton in Devon, it flew away from the Ceratostigma flowers as I was about to video it, circled around the garden and then returned.

Comment by John on September 30, 2011 at 22:15 Yes Brigitt, it is very much like a small hummingbird. Usually moths do not come out in the daylight
as birds will eat them, but this moth is complete confident that nothing can catch it.
It is the Eurofighter equivalent of the moth species.
