Your choice of bulbs is a very personal thing.  And of course, now is the time to start ordering, especially if you're a designer and need to order for clients.  Actually equally for your own garden.  We all put plenty of thought into our colour-schemes, and sometimes it has to be experimental, but sometimes it also helps to know what other people are doing.  I've done Parrot Rococo in pots for several years (everyone loves them), and Queen of the Night with Alchemilla Mollis, but now it's time to ring the changes.  I've been taking tips off Chelsea Gold Medal winner, Andy McIndoe.  More from Andy on What Bulbs to Plant here.
