Ultracrete Envirobed HA104® is a revolutionary, next generation, environmentally friendly  bedding mortar alternative to resin-based materials, and is specially formulated for the bedding of ductile ironwork.

It is supplied as a two-component system which contains a blend of special cements, polymer graded aggregates and recycled glass and is particularly suitable for use in wet weather conditions. The combined components provide a high performance mortar which can accommodate depths of 10mm – 50mm in one pass.

Ultracrete Envirobed HA104® complies with the HA104/09 requirements adopted by the Highways Agency, Department of Transport and the SROH (Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Highways), and achieves a tensile strength of 5N/mm² in 3 hours, which provides significant resistance to heavy trafficking and manhole frame deflection.
