It occurred to me the other day that amongst many other things

gardeners are fortunate enough to be able to create patches of

happiness.

 Especially in those areas adjoining the public thoroughfares,

the front gardens and hotel grounds where many thousands of people pass

by each week.

One could argue that without the planting and the design and the maintenance

the happiness would not exist.

 Even while you are not there, the patch is still creating happiness, developing

changing through the seasons.
