Enviromat, Sedum roofing, The green roof.

Enviromat, the sedum matting. system.

Enviromat is a new landscaping
material grown in Norfolk by Q lawns.

Q lawns have been supplying turf nationally for many years and are renown for their high standards and quality control.

Enviromat is an extremely versatile mixture of sedum plants; it is also frost hardy and drought resistant making it an Ideal material to use in the UK.

The sedum varieties include:
S. albums
S. reflexum
S. sexangulare
S. spurium
S. Kamtschaticum
S. pulchellum

Unfortunately not all of the varieties can be guaranteed to appear on every piece of Enviromat.

The sedum is grown on a patented free draining geotextile fleece; this allows just the right amount of moisture retention for the plants to thrive.

Enviromat has many applications:

· Roofing, flat roofs and sloping roofs up to a 25% pitch.
· Ground cover.
· Window boxes.
· Animal housing, rabbit hutches etc.

To name a few, as long as the area is not in the shade Enviromat will grow just use your imagination.

The training day was exelent, I had already had some informal training by Chris Carr, but still learnt alot, apparently It was one of the better training days they have done because people interacted with eatch other and posed different imagenary situations, this got more discusion apparently. All in all a very good day.
