Learning Curve

First came the website. Still in its infancy - a flash site - soon to become an html. Does it promote the business? Well not directly but sales have come through people being able to link to it from other sites.
Then came the networking to promote the website but this opened up a whole new ball game. Introduction to this very informative site was just the beginning.

Plants in the garden in autumn

Prompted by the vibrant Autumn colours on this site I headed for the garden, camera in hand, to find a selection. Hydrangea preziosa was just starting to turn from wine to a mottled beige. I then found rhododendron ready to burst into flower tricked by our confused weather perhaps. Ayr Flower Show

I thought i'd better write this blog before it bcomes a distant memory as time has a habit of marching on. Planting left to last and literally thrown in - not that the judges or the public seemed to notice - but the judges did comment on th… Continue

Wildlife in the garden

Have just read the article on fawn in the garden. Would it not be great if wildlife/weeds( flowers in the wrong place) could live in harmony with we gardeners. Finding the balance is not always easy. Rabbit on lawn - perfect picture- next morning no tops left on newly planted annuals. Deer in the field opposite grazing peacefully oblivious to me enjoying the moment at a distance moving closer to home as I sleep only to pull out parts of the newly planted beech hedge. Foxes - pests to many but al… Continue

HI V

I have noticed this too and I am as perplexed as you.

I have sent a message to Chris tonight in a hope to get to the bottom of it.

Thanks

Phil
