Just read about Poole Councils astro turf cone ersatz Christmas tree. Didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. All the obvious bluster about the councils Health & Safety policy, the obvious indignation of not having a REAL tree, sort of flashed up, but actually the fact that it was representative , rather than a phoney copy, left me with a bit of admiration. Maybe it was just the cheek of it! Do any forum members have favourite artificial plants - or do they just appall you?

Born & bought up in Commercial horticulture I have a natural interest in the site. Hort people always seem pretty OK too!
My brother Peter does garden contacting on the South Coast, my garden (Wife's really!) is in the NGS -Dove Cottage -Derbyshire.
