About Me:
straight on YT for 3 yrs on leaving school doing amenity horticulture, hard and soft landscaping then my arboricultural qualifications spent the next few years doing mainly tree surgery, but had to stop climbing for a while after a motorbike crash did my back in. spent a few years running an organic smallholding of 20 acres growing mainly salads + general nursery work with an acre of glass and another 6 polytunnels. then moved county and went between floristry (dont ask but i am quite good with my artistic side) pig breeding then back to tree work for a year but found climbing to put to much strain on the afore mentioned problems. moved between a few casual gardening jobs for a couple more seasons then decided it was time to set up self employed again. been going reasonably well so far winters are still a bit slack but i have a good customer base that appreciate my knowledge and experience

2 weeks to xmas

i cant believe its only 2 weeks away and im struggling to fit all my jobs in, at least i have one customer wants me to go while theyre away for xmas (they dont leave till the 20th and im wondering if theyre leaving me the key so i can have xmas party).
maybe we shall be lucky and have some dry weather with a few less windy days so i can get the bigger hedges and trees topped, having to shift jobs left right and centre to suit the weather but at least the sprayings done.

What a lovely day

well what lovely weather again, shame about the hairy arsed trucker trying to ride tight up the back of my van in a queue of traffic until i stopped with everyone else and he didnt. then he has the cheeck to say he didnt do the damage. maybe i get a good price for the van from the insurance seeing as though new back doors and hinges and lights is as much as the van is worth

Hullo mate - I'm in Clarkston on the southside so opposite end of City! Hope you don't reckon I'm being argumentative either - I just like sticking my oar in! The site is great for debates like this though! Good Luck!

Oh right no your not near me, Im between luton and milton keynes. just from what you said in your viking mower post sounded like you went to browns in leighton buzzard (my local mower etc. dealer) and the way you discribed the weather sounded exactly like what the weather does around here!

Hi Colin
I love your profile picture. I suspect you and I own doggie doubles. That could so easily be my Rosie sharing your seat!
