Helen Reeley said… Hi Carol
I've been at Hampton Court today helping Plant Heritage set up inside their marquee. I've been given the task of designing the marquee foyer with pots and plants-but I've been given very little materials to work with as the main work within the task is obtaining plants and materials from surrounding skips. So there is a bit of fun to be had and so far I've managed to obtain reams of green hessian, some large plastic planters, some hessian type twine and some pink mirror pieces. I'm not quite sure how this is all going to come together tomorrow (after we've pleaded for plants from stall holders) but I remain suitably optimistic that it will look...eclectic! This is my first year volunteering with Plant Heritage at Hampton Court-my invitation to be involved next year depends on my performance tomorrow.
Regards
Helen
Dan Pearce said… Hi Carol, we have had the day off today so I wont be going up now till the show is on. The latest photo I have is from a day or so ago as the plants were starting to go in.
I will be at the show on Thursday manning the garden but I will let everyone know how she got on when I hear the results of judge's on Monday.
Thanks for asking.
Well thank you at least i have one official friend! S
