I know exactly where your coming from with this!!!
We had a quote for new fascias and a new flat roof from a well known DGW company...it was absolutely outrageous what the salesman quoted. He then phoned his manger at least twice and the price cam...
6 or 8 for me.
6 would look better without an outline on the tick...or a paler outline like 9.
I've been looking at various pictures comparing Junipers and chamaecyparis. They both look similar! Although it could be a Juniperus chinensis Ontario???

its a juniper
im about 90% sure its either a Juniperus or a Chamaecyparis. Picea is the genus that looks like xmas trees, the traditional xmas tree is Picea abies.

- I've had many jobs...cooking top notch food to managment...but gardening has always been my 'hobby'!
My last job was managing an independant clothes shop...one day a bright idea popped into my head...'I know...I'll give this all up and start my own buisness...doing what I love most...Gardening!!
So 7 years ago I did just that...I started off working for a small gardening company to get an idea of how the buisness works on a day to day basis...
I then went to college to make sure my knowledge was up to scratch...I now have an RHS horticulture certificate-I want to learn more and tackle garden design next. I had a few private gardens I worked in whilst doing this.
When the course finished I took on more gardens and started my own buisness.
I also grow plants in my small plant nursery.
Working outside with Mother Nature-best job ever in my opinion!
The gardens I work in are all sizes and all varieties...keeps me warm and busy and happy!
