Thats a better idea (Helen) in my mind. Nobody from the public (when i say public i mean those with gardening, design interests that are not commercial) is going to pay £150 to join LJN, no way.
Youve got to come up with something smarter than a blanket membership fee.
I mean, who is going to join?
Do a poll.
Im pretty sure you charge £150 a year membership, probably half the current members will dissapear.
If we could raise the money through job leads then the site could remain 'free' to those who want to read join in and learn and paid for by those who wish to use it in a commercial interest.

A basic wage for a self employed gardener....now that WOULD be a good idea. Is he qualified? Is he experienced? Answer yes to both - dont even call and ask him what he charges, you know itll be at least 15 ph..that would be refreshing.
