Olive plants and trees in the UK

This week I had a brilliant surprise , I looked for orders on my Gmail and Got one from BGS
Graeme Mann- that was really great as the week was really empty from orders on my webshop.

It was even better to see Graeme name there. At least I got many orders for olive plants from the E-bay listings!. No wonder as they looks great , full of black olives on.

I am excited to get the next stock of them in just few days.

Not many people know how hardy olive tree can be. the answer is when mature it be… Continue

Railing planter

Cool planter solution
It is sometimes worth remembering useful details of where to source materials. I still have that habit from when I did more garden design and looked for materials to use. Now I have this new planter just added to my products list and it is worth remembering it as it can be very useful. We call it the saddle planter or greenbo planter. It is not just useful it looks great and I was not sure about how it looks, till I got my first stocin

plastic Lawn edging

I actually really enjoy now the retail part on best4garden, there are very interesting parts in it. It feels that I am taking part in a project when people order the heavy duty lawn edging and tell me about the big project they are doing- last week it was 225m to a group of volunteers that renew a very old garden! so I am hoping for good photos.

There are many new products but even the flag item the… Continue

Hi Ofer. Thanks for your welcome. I stumbled across LJN by accident but find it a great source for information and contacts. In answer to your question, PGG is the Professional Gardeners Guild. It's cheap to join and another useful source of information. They are a nationwide network with members all across the UK. They hold meetings in each region at certain times of the year. They were recommended to me by a friend who recruits gardeners for a London agency. Kind regards. Karen

I to am starting a new venture as i am new in the design field.I am confident though that I have the passion to make it a real success.I would be pleased to give anyone advice on the construction side of things, what would be feasible and what wouldn't etc. Regards Nigel

Hi Ofer,

You can upload files such as Powerpoint and .pdf, the small button that looks like a sheet of paper can be used to upload a file.

Also if you have a few files you may want to look at using a service such as Docstoc http://www.docstoc.com/ this lets you display files in the page so people can read them without having to download them.

Have an experiment ;-)

Hi Ofer,

It is free. What you are looking for is 'embed this doc', click this and it will spit out some code that you can then include in a web page.

Drop me a line if you are struggling.

Ofer,

Thanks for the kind words, you should check out www.nimrodenvironmental.co.uk in the next couple of weeks as the site is just recieving some finishing touches before its launch.
The name nimrod is biblical as you said and its 'the great hunter'. Just an interesting name really and something that my dad called me when i was young.

We are based in Barnsley and work locally with the landscaping but nationwide with the Japanese Knotweed.

Good luck to you too.

Hello Ofer, the picture is from a short book called 'Vassilisa The Beautiful' (which I found 40 years ago) Its the retelling of a Russian fairytale - illustrated by Ivan Billibin in the year 1900, into English by Irina Zheleznova. I liked the pictures so much I carefully undid the book and got them blown up and the're now framed on my wall. Thanks for the correspondence, I liked your little blog bit about roots, and I will join in the growing veg group when I can.
