Wonderful just Wonderful

Yahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! such a briliant day.

I flow to israel the night before and already saw most of my family and some of my friends that came to visit me at sea.
The sea was just amazing- clear pastel blue so you can see all the fish inside- spend most of the day in the
water and had a great meal and a pint in the resturant there.

Just passed exam for the fire services 10 days ago after long time of being assest-yahhhhh.

For me Glee was the fist time to see what an international opportunities… Continue

2 years in the UK , the biggest hose and Lj friends

Few weeks ago was 2 years for me here- I was dying to write but too many things happened. One of the greatest things about living in the UK -is that you get new friends and you find supporting people.

The week of the 2 years was not very nice as I had to spend 2 days learning all information that no one knows or actually should know to take a life in the uk test - (questions there for example where can you get your national insurance number) - and to pay £850 for a visa application -never mind… Continue

Recycled Plastic Lawn Edging

The continual search for the perfect edging material for lawns is an ongoing process. Iron, cement edging, wood borders - all have been used as those necessary elements to demarcate and define the borders of our gardens. The tendency for grass to "rhizome" itself into the gardens and the general root expansion of the always-voracious grasses and imperialistic lawns is a common problem often requiring substantial hand work and labor to maintain a good, separate edge. Indeed, this is one of the mo… Continue

Lawn edgings: not anymore on the edge. Garden edging - many garden problems solver

The great news is on lawn edgings google search 'plants from zion' is already at the middle of second page this week- that brought about extra 500 visits this week.
I changed the whole website in the probably 5th time (oohhhh) but it is far more friendly to people and search engines. I was working many hours but still lost some of the fine tuning on thee shop what seems like to effect on the sales- what a stress.

Not for squares only - Recycled raised Beds -design your shape.

The recycled raised beds can used for any shape not just for squares or rectangles.

"you sent me the garden raised beds kits two weeks ago" the lady said on the phone " and they're great- look so good with the curvy shape that I will send you a photo this week and another one later on with the plants. "And, " she added proudly, " I did it all by myself!". su… Continue

Hi Ofer. Thanks for your welcome. I stumbled across LJN by accident but find it a great source for information and contacts. In answer to your question, PGG is the Professional Gardeners Guild. It's cheap to join and another useful source of information. They are a nationwide network with members all across the UK. They hold meetings in each region at certain times of the year. They were recommended to me by a friend who recruits gardeners for a London agency. Kind regards. Karen

Hi Ofer, thankyou for taking the time to get in touch. I to am starting a new venture as i am new in the design field.I am confident though that I have the passion to make it a real success.I would be pleased to give anyone advice on the construction side of things, what would be feasible and what wouldn't etc. Regards Nigel

Hi Ofer,

You can upload files such as Powerpoint and .pdf, the small button that looks like a sheet of paper can be used to upload a file.

Also if you have a few files you may want to look at using a service such as Docstoc http://www.docstoc.com/ this lets you display files in the page so people can read them without having to download them.

Have an experiment ;-)

Hi Ofer,

It is free. What you are looking for is 'embed this doc', click this and it will spit out some code that you can then include in a web page.

Drop me a line if you are struggling.

Ofer,

Thanks for the kind words, you should check out www.nimrodenvironmental.co.uk in the next couple of weeks as the site is just recieving some finishing touches before its launch.
The name nimrod is biblical as you said and its 'the great hunter'. Just an interesting name really and something that my dad called me when i was young.

We are based in Barnsley and work locally with the landscaping but nationwide with the Japanese Knotweed.

Good luck to you too.

Hello Ofer, the picture is from a short book called 'Vassilisa The Beautiful' (which I found 40 years ago) Its the retelling of a Russian fairytale - illustrated by Ivan Billibin in the year 1900, into English by Irina Zheleznova. I liked the pictures so much I carefully undid the book and got them blown up and the're now framed on my wall. Thanks for the correspondence, I liked your little blog bit about roots, and I will join in the growing veg group when I can.
