Landscaping required in Cumbernauld

I've just taken a call from someone looking for some landscaping work undertaken in Cumbernauld (private garden). I was recommended to them through a mutual friend as someone they could trust, but unfortunately they're just too far away to make it viable for me.Anyway, the upshot is if any Juicers are interested just send a friend request and PM me or email me at info@garden-gurus.co.uk.CheersSee More

Where are all the plants?

Posted on April 10, 2010 at 22:57 15 Comments

Is it just me or are gardens becoming no more than an extension of people's interior "space" (don't you just hate how rooms of a house or even a garden have been deconstructed to the point that they are now referred to as no more than a "space"?)

I'm constantly looking for inspiration and find myself browsing designer's and landscaper's "Gallery" pages only to find structures; paving, walling, decking, pergolas and furniture. Even the plants that are in view are structural; geometric… Continue

Exactly the same for me - advertising for maintenance with the idea that the construction will follow. Been a slow start but my books are now filling up for march. Think the work is there but a lot more competition from people who don't necessarily know what they're doing! Good luck for next month

Hi Nick, I'm in a similar situation myself. I was self employed for many years until last year when I took a year long contract in Aberdeen (plenty of work still up there because of the oil money) Just about to start being self employed again as of the beginning of next month. How are you finding it, is there much work about? I really concentrate on the construction side of things but have decided to advertise for maintenance as well until I can fill my days solely with construction projects.

Haha! I'll guess it was Holyrood for school at least! I used to stay up in Govanhill Street, up in Clarkston now... a wee bit more snoot-side than sooth-side! How'd you end up in Edinburgh?
