"This topic is an interesting read as I'm facing these decisions at the moment! Through college I was taught the traditional way of hand drawing everything and taking it down to the printers. However I'm quickly moving over to the digital…"
"Colin yes I agree- it is just a tool and whether it works for you depends on your skills, your clients, and what you lead them to expect. On average a single image often can be made to look better as a hand drawn, but that is like comparing a still…"
I have been trying to perfect the use of my 3D Designer program with varied success. The thought has occurred to me that customers might prefer the traditional hand drawn design which has a more one off personal feel. I would be interested to hear the thoughts of designers and customers alike. As I have never trained in IT hand drawing comes more naturally to me. …See More

I Have been in the landscaping business for nearly 20 years and have recently gained a Diploma in Garden Design from the Institute of Garden Design.
My aim is to create gardens that will be functional enjoyable and affordable and most of all to the personal requirements of each individual client.
I enjoy every aspect of the process from first meeting my clients right through to seeing a design in it's finished form. also being able to visit in the future to see how the garden has developed over time.
I am in the process of developing my website with a veiw of which services I can provide ,and also a gallery showing the work I have completed in the past. I hope it will be of interest to prospective clients and to fellow designers/lanscapers alike.(My IT skills aren't the best so any tips would be appreciated )
Hi nice to meet you and more than that to see I am not the only one online at 7:30 weekend.
so good morning early bird.
Its great that you can offer nearly everything in landscaping.
and not jut that you said affordable that mean you can deal with all sorts of budgets-so, I am sure you are very busy.
Did you see the enviro Raised bed ,Its a wonderful solution for many situations veg beds, high borders, even as a terrace on a slope garden .probably less than half of the cost of any other materials.
I dont know much about all the plants in the UK or institutes- but but very keen to learn.
but I brought with me lots of solutions, experience with products that I bring from Israel .
what I find hard is when people dont try to have a look before they say know.
I was tought that a gardeners need to bring fashions to customers and I used to think that a garden designer should even be creative and create fashions.
just sharing the way I see things to see what do you think about that?
I am sure you have more experiance than me dont get me wrong.
I will go now to work on my website.
you always welcome to contact
