"I use a sarp cost about 350 last year. always starts first time fairly lightweight and d handle which allows you to get into akward positions. used to use cow horn machine and felt it very uncomfortable to use"

Mower leaking petrol

Went to start work today to find the lawn mower leaked petrol in the van overnight. Can't believe got  loads of mowing to do, also pelting down with rain. what a day.See More

"Vigilance is all part of the job.  We use ply when breaking up concrete etc, but I like the corex idea, will give it a go. "

"i agree with paul.  but with mower after no smashes in 9 yrs i then smashed my own car drivers side window with my mower on grass nearby :( "

"Go to a builders merchant and buy a 8*4 sheet of cordex ( a couple of £s). Will fold up, lightweight and can easily stored in roof of van using a couple of bungee cords. We use a couple of bits of duct tape to temp stick cordex sheet over…"
