Can we be moving into summer? The Alliums are out in force, even A. cristophii normally a little later than the others is ready to burst. My Roses are covered with buds too, the exquisite 'Souvenir du Docteur Jamain' which has been ever so slow to establish is smothered in flowers, in deep shades of crimson that gets darker with age, i can't pass it with out having to stick my nose deep into the petals, the Rosa 'Comte de Chambord' which i planted bare rooted into frozen ground the week before…See More
