Hi Janine,
I took out PII just before I started drawing up the contract documentation for a large garden design I was putting out to tender. It was expensive, but the SGD have good rates for members of any category. Yes it helped me sleep at night...
I hardly ever have contracts with my clients either - trust on both sides seems to work most of the time. But I agree with the comment below about people taking their time paying. It has happened to me so much this year. I get the money in the end...
