"We started a commercial contract today where the grass hadn't been cut yet this year. Out came the Etesias and 45cc srrimmers.

I'd still advocate using a blower quickly with its extension to remove moisture then mow.

I still won't cut in the wet.

i wouldnt cut wet grass.

"In clearing cut grass to the box, Air flow is key - its helped by 1/ design, 2/speed, 3/air flow or lift (ie blade), 4/ aire exit route.
You can tweek so many of those variables...
- increasing engine (hence blade) speed ;-)
- using high lift blades…"
