Cutting them yourself is going to be the easiest and least expensive option. Use a fungicide treatment to re-seal the end cuts. I use Ensele.... you just apply it with a brush. It also comes in green and brown.

I prefer pavers (tegula deco, brett regatta, granite setts - 50mm or cubes etc.) laid onto haunched concrete to flexible edging as it gives a nice edge to run your mower wheel over. It's an easy installation too.

I wear Dewalt boots too and agree they are comfortable and pretty hard wearing for the amount of punishment they receive.

Hi there, No she's a Yorkie - 12 weeks in that shot, now 21 weeks old. The digging is something that they outgrow so I'm told. I won't hold my breath.

Dogs are a delight though, I'm sure you'll agree. I now have three in my pack: a ten year old Yorkie girl called Pepsi and two recent additions Caro and Rhia 21 weeks old Yorkie girls.

Did your dog dig holes in your garden? If so how did it stop?
