Hi Andrew

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply so extensively.

I feel a bit of an idiot for not showing your the arches; you may have found it easier to visualise what I am trying to achieve.

Have a look here: http://www.landscapejuicenetwork.com/forum/topics/making-an-arch-former-for-a-stone-wall

The lights would (or should) be totally concealed so I'm not worried about what they look like.

I don't want anything too bright as the lights will be more for background/passive lighting. Probably shining down on pots or a small statue. A soft feel is important.

There will also be plants in front eventually too.

Perhaps we could speak on the telephone at some stage?

All best

Phil

Hi Andrew

I hope you can help.

I've just built a stone wall. In the wall I have five arches. I intend to put a down-lighter into each light.

I have installed the wiring into conduit and each arrives at the top of the arch into a length of 100mm ducting. I have also installed an air breather hole at the rear of the wall so the heat can escape.

Can you advise on the best lights to use? Can you supply (send to France?)

Look forward to hearing from you.

Phil

Hi Andrew,

On our landscaping side we have done the groundworks for many lighting projects.

We have done works on domestic projects through to manor houses.

I liked your comment you left on a thread about the pros and cons for garden lighting.

All the best, Peter
