Hi all. Just joined this group after deciding to use LJN more in my business.

I provide a garden maintenance service in the Farnham, Surrey area. I have 14 years experience in the horticultural industry (mainly in nurseries).

Cheers

Ben

Hi everyone, just joined the network and found this group. We have been providing grounds maintenance for some of the best luxury hotels in the south east of England & London for many years and have also been involved in building gardens for some high profile clients not only here but in Ireland and France too.
Looking forward to some better weather sometime soon and some good discussions with you all in the future.

Hi all, pleased to have found this group . We`ve been providing an all year garden maintenance service to our clients in Hertfordshire and surrounding areas for 7 years.
Kenneth, during January and February we`ve been concentrating our services on extended maintenance jobs such us fence or shed repair or timber treatment or installing plant supports for the new season planting , just some of the late season work that gets us through the winter ,hope this will give you some ideas.

Hi Richard moody garden services been trading 5 years in the northwales area I landed my first big ground maintenance contract last April . I also do domestic gardens as well as hotels and guest houses, January always a bit slow all in all so far so good considering the current financial climate we live in. Would like more winter work so still looking for one more contract.

Hi everyone..It's my first year and I have had a great few months..I know that there is still gardening work out there but work has slowed down, of course the season has changed but I am wondering what other gardeners do through the autumn and winter season's.. what do I do to earn money? I am studying at Caple Manor Collage once a week and I can spare an extra day off work to study at home, but I dont want to waste any extra days doing nothing. I dont need to earn a massive amount over the next few months, just a part time wage to see me through untill spring. Any ideas or pillows of wisdom that you would like to share will be greatly appreciated. Regards to you all Ken.

Hi Julia, no you're not on your own!  I've been up and running just on a year now and starting to think how to make changes and become a bit more 'professional' looking.
