How do you charge?

Hi

I was just wondering how everyone charges for things like Scarify, spike, spray, mow ect.

For everything I charge by the square meter, with incriminates for prices going up or down depending on the size of the lawn.

Well i definitely dont tell the customer what hourly rate i am working on. I do my quotes by area and change it according to variables such as distance from base, state of lawn at present, number of obstacles, is waste to be removed etc. Scarifying can create huge amounts of waste if the lawn has been neglected and this needs to be checked on site and adjustments made to the basic square meter price.

Small lawns have to be priced slightly more expensive per meter than medium and large lawns.
