GLEE is coming up and the promotion details look good. Is it worth visiting as a garden designer? I would be hoping to see new products like garden furniture, containers, water features, hardscape materials etc. I'm not so interested in plants as I have very good suppliers already. Have any LJN designers been to GLEE and what did you think of it?

There are some of that as you can see in the Glee Website- sure spending time online can teach too- but Exhibition can built a bit of personal contact.

Can be a nice day as well and good place for bargains in the last day.

Is it worth it- hard to say - really up-to you.
probably worth to try once a life and decided than.

If you do not go- but like to have contacts with wholesaler the website with all contacts and websites links will be online for a year.

hope it's help.
Glee, as you probably realise, is primarily a retailers show - all the exhibitors are manufacturers/distributors/importers looking to sell to retailer customers, so none of them will be looking for you as a customer.....but it does present you with an unrivalled opportunity to see all the new stuff that is likely to appear in garden centres next year, including acres of all the things you mention, so it may well be an interesting day for you.

There'll also be acres of other stuff - compost, seeds, tools, etc etc etc which will be no use at all to you - you'll just have to be selective where you look!

I've only visited once (day trip) and was impressed as to the size and variety of products.  Well worth visiting I felt, as it kept me alert as to what was coming on stream across the horticultural world for the upcoming season.  Hoping to visit this yr as it's been too long!  Only thing is as I am travelling from Ireland, 1 day [wasn't] isn't enough so I plan to take my time enjoy the event over 2 days and get an Indian and a beer!  Looking 4ward already....
