Etesia mowers user group

Rather than having loads of different forums where Etesia is mentioned why not have its own group for owners and would be owners.

It is great to have Etesia as members of LJN so lets show them what we got!

hi steve

sounds like it needs a good service and cables replaceing along with a new blade, that should sort the little problems you have out.

Hi All etesia owners. Now the owner of 4 etesia machines I have some more questions mainly to do with the ME53B- Dedicated mulcher. Bought it used and wish to know its history, ie; The gearbox I presume has 3 gears, mine only 1. Do these gearboxs' fail after a while or is there something I am missing. What the machine cuts it does well but very slowly. Can any body help? Thanks. Steve.

Just started to find out all about Etesia's. Hired an attila 98 the other day. Now been looking at buying a H124DX mower- love the high discharge! If anyone knows of any being sold secondhand....then please let us know!

Recently joined so apologies if this thread has already been covered but I could not find it. I am looking for an exploded parts diagram for a Etesia Pro 46 mower and Honda GCV 160 engine. If anyone else has had some success I'd appreciate their advice. Ta Jon

Hi Paul, will check the belt that we dispatched tomorrow, and if it is longer of the two will post the other out to check.  Just a thought as well - are all the pins in place that hold the deck to the raise lower frame - if one has dropped out deck may not be sitting level which can also effect deck belt tension

Hi Dan,  Check the blade allignment by opening the side door and tracking the blade all around 360 degrees of the deck. If the deck pan or main shaft is bent the blade may be at the right height on the side of the deck where the opening is but too low at the front or back which can cause collection issues. The deck will bend on Hydro 80 if it gets caught like yours which is not the end of the world but can cause the problems experienced. Also if you hold end of blade does it feel loose if you try to spin it which could be the result of a sheared key on blade boss, shear bolts snapped/worked loose or main bearings on the cutted shaft damaged?  All worth a look.

Today I cut a bit of turf with the Hydro 80 as the front wheel popped down a hole that I didn't see, and since then the  blade is not chucking the grass properly into the bag. I checked the blade in the side discharge chute and both ends of the blade seemed level, wings are ok... it feels rougher since then and as I say, doesn't chuck the grass into the bag now. Any ideas if it is a common occurence? If I can avoid the 45 minute trip to the dealer and the delay/cost it would be most convenient!
