Can any APL member update this group on the LBIS situation?

Hi all, I became an APL member last year. Recently been to our first cluster group in the North West. How is everyone here doing?

No not going Paul, need to keep costs down, I remain unhappy that the regional LBIS groups were discontinued.

From talking to a few others Paul it has been really bad for a lot of us, I must have been lucky, maybe working alone has eased the pressure. I suppose winter will be dire and it seems a long time until spring! This year.I am not working Jan and Feb so I can do my own garden and house, luckily I have a few bookings for March with customers prepared to wait. Hope you can clinch some business from the newish enquiries, good luck!

Yes Paul, pretty much the same as me. LBIS was good, I guess with 180+ APL members LBIS should have had much higher memberships, now the changes may be in danger of killing the sheme off, perhaps the new format may save it but not for me I fear. I've had a good year workwise, I wonder how other members here have found things?

I'm a member, membership is useful not only from the info and resources available, but also in the advantage it gives when trying to gain business. I am a member of APL's Landscape Business Improvement Scheme and that has helped massively, sadly the format of LBIS has recently been changed and I am not happy with the revised format.
