What do you guys use as work trousers, for the past few years I have always worn snickers but they seem to be getting a tad to expensive.

CRAGHOPPERS ARE GOOD AND MOUNTAIN LIFE WINTER AND SUMMER ONES

Screwfix recently had some Dewalt trousers on a deal. 2 pairs for £30. So far, so good. Comfy and durable, and they haven't "overdone it" with the pockets.

Craghoppers for me too, winter lined very comfy! Wait till on special offer at Go Outdoors

+1 on Craghoppers. Get mine from http://www.goutdoors.co.uk/

Some of the guys use cheaper versions (ie Regatta/Peter Storm - ex-Millets).

Positives are pockets, UV protection (..ok I know ..what Sun ? ;-) quick to wash and dry especially if you get wet out working. Lined ones are great this time of year.

I'm getting fed up with all the multi pocket, fashion Builders kit. We have been wearing Englebert Strauss gear, German made, decent quality, but again, too many pockets. If you fill all the pockets your trousers either fall down, or you can't move. I used to wear Craghoppers, but they never lasted, always having to repair them. I'm sending for some Carhartt Canvas trousers next, jean style pockets and hard wearing. I'll let you know.

It depends on what you do...would imagine for hard landscaping/on knees all day long they would not last as well as they do for others doing soft/maintenance/lawn care/grounds care etc

Horses for courses ?

Bought a pair of Dickies Industry300 trousers last week, comfortable to wear, and have some adjustable 'slack' in the waist. So far, so good. Half the price of Snickers trousers.

Was wearing hunting type trousers from Decathlon over the winter, great heavy duty trousers, double lined, and warm, but too restricting movement wise.

Craghoppers from tk maxx, good price and dry very quick

been using tuff stff extreme for the past 3 years and theyve always been pretty good and reasonable price

Ive been buying Site (that is site and not S*ite haha) Beagle Trousers from Screwfix, 17.99 or 2 pairs for £23.00

knees are extra dbl lined, comfortable.

they are still in good nick for this year. :-)

Engelbert Strauss, hard wearing but pricey if you're not buying in bulk.

Can a man have too many pockets? ;)

Depends on how long his arms are........ :-)
