wet weather gear

now the wet weather has arrived im in desperate need of some decent waterproofs and boots,ones which dont make you wet from sweat.trousers as well as a coat any suggestions

I have not seen any plain coloured ones on ebay, or have I been looking in the wrong place?.

My Gortex coat xxl bought on ebay, arrived from Hong Kong, - It is more like a short jacket, I guess the datum point of the XXS in Hong Kong determines the sizes that follow. I am 6ft 3" though.
The quality is excellant and I will still wear it (probably under an old coat), but I have just glanced at a link to Army plain Gortex jackets,and these look very similar to mine, they also look rarther short.

I am only 5ft 6 ins !. I would email the seller & ask for the length. Soldiers can be pretty big !

I could do with some waterproof over trousers just for pressure washing.  Warmth not a requirement, but cost is an issue.  Any recommends please ?

I bought a pair of these a while back...double thickness gortex on knees and bum, big gortex seamed zips. I put them on the other day and my trousers were a bit damp when I took them off they were dry ! might need braces with them is a good tip though.
