Permalink Reply by Simon Knops on February 15, 2009 at 19:07 I have tried a few canopies...the fold out ones 3x3 that they use in markets at around £100 were ok but the workings soon got stuck with mud. I now use the cheap lighter ones from the likes of Argos at £40 - and treat them as disposable...lasting a few months. You have to watch with the wind though, they can easily end up causing damage if swept away!
Wet weather gear...we have used cheap waterproofs and bought the guys 2 sets each ...but now tend to get them a good brand make, and they look after them better cos they know they cost a lot. Good for moral too. One of our guys bought an ex police jacket from ebay recently and says its the best he has ever tried...
