This has to be great news if you find it difficult to get all of your gardening chores done at weekends.

It comes as a bit of a surprise and without warning but DEFRA announced that the weekends will be extended by two hours - one hour Saturday and one Sunday.

Although there is a hint that some people would simply use the hour to sleep longer, I reckon this is good news (in fact I am envious because the system isn't going to be adopted herein France - I will still have to rush and tear to get everything done)

What do you think - good or bad idea?
