Weed?

one of the boys found this on site today. he wasn't sure so pulled out the bits taking over the ice plant. but there is more and he reckons it has popped up in 2 weeks!

I am saying a weed, but unsure as of the proper name.

  • Looks like a variety of Hypericum to me James.

  • That's what I thought, can't tell very well. Did it have yellow flowers on it earlier (obviously not if you've been chopping it down repeatedly)?
