Hi Folks
I am currently looking at providing a remote SketchUp/CAD/Garden Design service/tuition for fellow designers/contractors/clients over the internet.
There are dozens of free/paid for voip telephony/video call/screen sharing services out there and I want to find the easiest/best system to deliver the training with the minimum amount of fuss at either end of the line.
I have already undertaken a quick experiment using the "hangout" facility on Google+ and this seemed to be adequate.
I am now looking for a member on Landscape Juice who uses Skype to test this service.
The experiment won't take much time to undertake (maximum 1/2 hr) and any help on this will be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
David

I'm a regular user of Skype for both business and personal use. I also use Sketchup for visualisation and planning small projects (but I'm not a landscape professional). I'm happy to help you if I can. The only limitation is that I don't use a web cam if that's relevant.
Regards,
Roger
I regularly used Skype when I was working in China. It's great - can give it a go if you like.

I would be delighted to trial SketchUp Training delivery with you via. Skype.
Please can you "friend me" and forward me your Skype Name via. a private message.
If possible, can either of you do the trial next week sometime (evening?) as I am busy this week preparing for my 40th Birthday Doo (aaaarrrrghhhh)!
Cheers
David
