Turf laying
ive noticed a few 'completed photo's of turfed gardens' .
jobs look very good , but i notice not all are laid alternately .
ie one complete roll laid, then second is laid half-way along ,following on same pattern.etc etc
do you cut-in at the end of each roll (ie overlap and cut both ends off to create a new/fresh join to grow in well) Not dry/scraggy etc..........
how do you lay yours for a client???

If the ends of your turf are dry and scraggy it's past its best and shouldn't be purchased!
You should only be cutting at the end of a row, then use the cut piece to start the next row, as long as the joins don't match up.
How inefficient would it be to have to cut both ends of every roll, not to mention the waste!

I always lay turf half bond and have never had a problem, larger pieces are used on the next rows and the balance is thrown away but thats the same with any surface area product you will always have some waste
I only use Rowlawn turf as its much better quality and only a small difference in price for the volume I use
